On Tuesday the CD player in my Fairmont was going haywire so I called into your service department. Your assistant service manager, Joe Carbone was extremely helpful - he removed the system from the dashboard, removed the jammed cd's then put everything back together - then tested the system.

You half expect people these days to say they haven't the time, we're booked out etc. however this wasn't any trouble for Joe and speaks volumes for your dealership.

Seven years ago my wife & I bought a Ford Fairmont from Brighton in the days of Graeme Hunt's dealership. Last week that car- with its original tyres- had its 40,000km service by your staff at Elsternwick.

The car has given no trouble in operation and that is a compliment to the Ford Motor Company whose product we switched to from Holden after 24 years of owning Holdens.

I want to tell you direct that the service given by Peter Lee & Joe Carbone and the technical team is superb.

This is to follow up on a service I had performed yesterday on my vehicle. I was pleasantly surprised with the service:

When I arrived the hand over was quick courteous and efficient.

The gentleman offered to take me to Elsternwick Station.

I was advised by phone about lunchtime that the service was done.

The car was ready and available when I returned.

Although I had failed to mention that the bonnet release switch was unattached I came back to find that it was fixed and it had been cleaned. This may be normal but the state of my car was not and to have it made available in this clean state was beyond what should be required of your staff. Please pass on my thanks to all staff involved.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank your Service Department, especially Steve Cherrie and the technical staff who worked on my Ford Mondeo.

As the fault was totally intermittent and the car would travel long distances before failing again, this made the fault extremely difficult to diagnose.
