Environmentally Friendly Practices

RECYCLING PAPER

Brighton Ford utilises recycled paper for many of its stationary items. Cardboard boxes that are received by the parts and service department are also collected and recycled.

RAINWATER TANKS & DETERGENTS

As a result of stage III water restrictions in our state, Brighton Ford has installed rainwater tanks to collect water for hand washing the vehicles. The detergents used are all biodegradable.

TYRES & CAR BATTERIES

Used tyres and expired car batteries are forwarded to authorised recyclers.

WASTE OIL, OIL FILTERS & COOLANT

The waste oils and coolant recovered from servicing are stored and collected by an accredited waste disposal company. Oil filters are also stored, collected and recycled.

CAR BATTERIES

Expired car batteries are forwarded to an authorised battery recycler.

TONER CARTRIDGES

Brighton Ford disposes expended toner cartridges into Planet Ark bins for collection and recycling.
